And, courtesy of our lack of landscaping, she loved the puddles in the backyard.



They all loved it.

Usually I don't put much stake in the poignancy of children's thoughts (since around here they mostly have to do with bodily emissions), but there was no denying this one: Julian said that the clouds moving in the sky look like the ocean.
Rain and clouds aren't things we see a lot of around here, and they're welcome.
